Scheduling

For the most beautiful results, we recommend scheduling your motherhood session when your baby is at least 3 months old. If you'd like your baby to appear more stable & for any individual baby photos, 6-7+ months works well because your baby will be sitting up more steadily. As a mother herself, Kinda knows intimately how to work with mothers & babies, making the photoshoot experience smooth & enjoyable.

Be sure to make your appointment a few months in advance, as our schedule fills up. We will touch base with you a few weeks prior to your appointment to discuss details and your vision - the rest? We'll take it from here.

Beauty & styling

To maximize the artistic effect of your portraits, we recommend working with a professional hair & makeup artist.  We also want to keep in mind baby's nap times and comfort level, so we highly recommend getting glammed at home where baby is comfortable and not waiting at the studio for mom to get ready.  Most of our recommended artists are mobile and can accommodate a home visit.

For your convenience, we offer a beautiful variety of couture gowns, bodysuits, flowing fabrics, wraps, & accessories that are designed to flatter every body shape & feel comfortable for mothers & babies. View our closet→

Pro tip: schedule a date night with your partner or girls date the day of your photoshoot!

Preview & editing

A few days after your photoshoot, you'll have the chance to review the raw footage from your session in an online gallery. You will select your favorites for Kinda to edit & retouch. We believe in only enhancing your natural qualities, never masking it with over-editing.

In about 2-3 weeks after Kinda has worked her magic, you'll see how your photoshoot turned into a timeless work of art you will cherish forever.

Investment

To book your session, we require a $250 deposit, which will be deducted from your final payment on the day of the photoshoot. For full pricing details you can fill this form and you will be emailed the info you requested
